Shipping & Pricing Policy

  1. 2.1All shipping rates are quoted in Jamaican Dollars (JMD) unless otherwise stated. Current rates are available at our office and on our official social media pages.
  2. 2.2USA Air Freight: Charged at J$850 for the first pound and J$650 for each additional pound. Formula: J$850 + ((Weight - 1) x J$650).
  3. 2.3USA Sea Freight: Charged at $12 USD per cubic foot with a minimum billable volume of 3 cubic feet (minimum charge $36 USD). Sea freight is charged by volume (size), not by weight.
  4. 2.4China Air Freight: Charged at $18 USD per pound with a minimum of 10 pounds ($180 USD). Includes Jamaican customs and duties — no hidden fees.
  5. 2.5China Sea Freight: Charged at $30 USD per cubic foot with a minimum of 7 cubic feet / 0.2 CBM ($210 USD). Includes Jamaican customs and duties — no hidden fees.
  6. 2.6Shipments may be charged by weight, volume, or declared item value — at the discretion of Kourier Express.
  7. 2.7Shipping rates are subject to change without prior notice. Rate changes do not affect shipments already in transit.
  8. 2.8All shipping fees must be paid in full before packages are released to the customer. Kourier Express does not offer credit or deferred payment.
  9. 2.9Payment may be made via cash, bank transfer, or approved mobile payment methods.

Damage, Loss & Liability Policy

  1. 6.1Kourier Express takes all reasonable precautions to ensure safe handling of packages throughout the shipping process.
  2. 6.2Kourier Express is not liable for damage caused by inadequate packaging by the original seller or shipper.
  3. 6.3Any claims for damaged or lost packages must be reported in writing within 48 hours of collection or notification of arrival. Claims made after this period will not be considered.
  4. 6.4Kourier Express liability is limited to the declared value of the item as stated at the time of shipment submission.
  5. 6.5Kourier Express is not liable for delays caused by Jamaica Customs, airline disruptions, weather conditions, or any circumstances beyond our direct control.

Refund Policy

Shipping fees are non-refundable once a package has been dispatched from the origin warehouse. No refunds will be issued for abandoned, auctioned, or disposed packages.

  1. 7.1Refunds will only be considered where Kourier Express is directly and solely responsible for a proven loss or error.
  2. 7.2All refund requests must be submitted in writing to info@kourierexpress.com within 7 calendar days of the incident.
  3. 7.3Customs duties, government taxes, storage fees, and warehouse fees are non-refundable under any circumstances.
  4. 7.4Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days via the original payment method.
